Taxi Fare Estimator

Pick a departure and arrival subway station to estimate the fare and travel time.

Practical tips

Kakao T is the app almost everyone here actually uses, and since a foreigner-friendly version called k.ride and an English interface arrived, it works fine without a Korean phone number or bank card — you can pay the driver directly in cash or with a foreign card if in-app payment doesn't go through. Street-hailing still works fine around the city, but drivers navigate by GPS rather than memorized street names, so having your destination as a pinned map location or Korean-text address, not just an English landmark name, saves a lot of back-and-forth. At Incheon, there's no need to flag anything down — clearly marked taxi bays with staff on hand queue you straight into a cab. Tipping isn't expected or practiced here, so paying the metered or app-quoted fare is the whole transaction.
