FairFare ("we", "us") provides free reference information on taxi fares, food prices, restaurant listings, and cosmetics prices in Korea for international travelers. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you visit this site and how it is used.
Information We Collect
This site does not require an account or registration. We do not generally collect names, phone numbers, or payment details from visitors. When you browse the site, standard technical information — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and an approximate location derived from your IP address — may be automatically collected through our hosting provider's server logs and any advertising services described below. As an exception, using the clinic inquiry form collects the email address and message you type in — see "Clinic Booking Inquiries" below for details. Likewise, if you use the 'Send a request' form, we collect the request text and the email address you optionally provide — see the 'Requests and feedback' section below.
Clinic Booking Inquiries
If you submit an inquiry via the "Request a Consultation" button on the plastic surgery / dermatology pages, we collect the email address, message, and clinic name you provide. This information is used only so our operator can review it and manually relay it to the clinic you specified — for no other purpose. Your IP address at submission time may be briefly logged to prevent spam. The clinic has no prior partnership or agreement with FairFare, and relaying an inquiry does not guarantee a booking or a response. Collected information is deleted within a reasonable period after the inquiry has been handled.
Requests and feedback
When you send a request, report an error or make a suggestion through the 'Send a request' link in the footer, we collect the request type, your message, the page path you were viewing, your site language and — only if you choose to provide it — your email address. We use this only to review requests, improve the site and, if you left an email address, to reply to you. To limit spam, a salted one-way hash derived from your IP address is kept temporarily for about a day; the request record itself does not store your IP address. Requests are deleted within a reasonable time after they are handled — contact us below if you would like yours removed.
Cookies and Google AdSense
This site uses, or plans to use, Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other websites, and to measure how ads perform.
