Booking tips before you go
Alcázar and Cathedral: book timed tickets, and use the free slots wisely
The Alcázar costs €15.50 (plus €5.50 for the Upper Royal Quarters) and the Cathedral with Giralda €13 online, so budget about €28.50 for both. Both have free windows that need an online reservation: the Cathedral on Sundays 16:30–18:00, and the Alcázar on Mondays in its last opening hour (guides suggest booking about a month ahead). Casa de Pilatos free Mondays have required online booking too since 20 Oct 2025.

Free or nearly free: Indias Archive, Fine Arts, Itálica
The General Archive of the Indies is free for tourists with no booking (Tue–Sat 9:30–17:00). The Fine Arts Museum charges non-EU visitors just €1.50 (free on 27 Sep, World Tourism Day, which falls next Sunday), and Itálica is €1.50 for non-EU visitors, with winter hours of 9:00–18:00 starting 21 Sep. Plaza de España is free too, so a sizeable Seville day can cost almost nothing beyond the Alcázar and Cathedral.

Alcázar night visits, and whether a city card is worth it
The Alcázar's theatrical night visits run Thursdays and Fridays until the end of October 2026 for a flat €15 (75 minutes, sessions 21:00–22:30), sold only on its official site. The Sevilla City Card promoted by the city tourist board bundles Alcázar and Cathedral entry with an airport transfer or hop-on bus and is sold through Tiqets; guides quote roughly €44–45, well above the €28.50 for the two tickets direct, so it only pays off if you would use the transport.

Royal Alcázar of Seville

Royal Alcázar Theatrical Night Visits

Flat €15 for a 75-minute evening route through the palace rooms and gardens with costumed characters, inspired by the 1526 wedding of Charles V and Isabel of Portugal. Sessions at 21:00, 21:30, 22:00 and 22:30; tickets only on the official Alcázar site.
